Hike through the old paths surrounded by steep cliffs, explore the island from side to side and discover small bays, capes and beautiful small beaches.
When on the East side, get impressed by a tall monolithic rock, Kalamos, the biggest monolith in the Mediterranean after Gibraltar. Panagia Kalamiotissa Monastery is perched on its highest peak, offering awe inspiring view, worth the hike!
Here lie the ruins of an ancient temple built in honour of the God Apollo Aegletus. Ruins can also be found at Kasteli, and most of the findings are now housed in the Archaeological Museum at Chora.

If you plan a trip to Anafi in August, get informed in good time about the local festivities. These celebrations are significant to the inhabitants and all visitors are welcome to join and experience the unique local way of partying!
Set off from your luxury hotel Santorini and discover Anafi island! Scheduled boat trips from Santorini to Anafi depart almost daily and the duration of the sail is about 2 hours.
